Johannesburg - Kedar Heritage Lodge, Conference Centre & Spa offers visitors and conference delegates the perfect escape from the hectic pace of modern living.
Situated in North West, just 21km from Sun City, Kedar is built on a portion of Boekenhoutfontein, the historic farm that once belonged to Paul Kruger.
The land around Kedar has been fenced and it is populated by a wide variety of game, which include not only eland, blesbok, impala, bushbuck, nyala, kudu, zebra, blue wildebeest, giraffe, and sable, but two endangered pygmy hippos – making the lodge a dream destination for nature lovers. Kedar is also the ideal venue for functions, weddings and conferences, and can cater for up to 100 guests.
Accommodation is offered in 66 African-themed stone-and-thatch rooms and suites, all of which are decorated with vibrant, hand-painted ethnic print fabrics and African artworks – reflecting the treasures Africa has to offer.
Private game drives are offered.
The facilities include the renowned Paul Kruger Country House Museum, Kedar Spa in the Country, three themed restaurants, and a large swimming pool.
Members get a 35 percent discount off rack rates, subject to availability, excluding long weekends and peak periods. The offer is valid until the end of the year.
