Durban will transform into a holiday wonderland during December, offering a festive fusion of sun, fun, and celebration.

If you are looking for fun activities, here are some things to look forward to:

– A family in Durban North has welcomed the public to visit their home which showcases multiple Christmas lights and decorations. Lights turn on at 7pm and it is free for public to view. The home address is 27 Somerset Park in Umhlanga.

- The Durban Christian Centre Jesus Dome will host a Christmas extravaganza on December 20. There will be activities for children from 4pm and its Christmas song and story from 7pm.

- The Bluff Ratepayers and Residents Association will host the Bluff Christmas Lights: A New Christmas tradition at the Bluff showgrounds on December 21 at 6pm. There will be activities for children, including face painting, storytelling and jumping castles. Santa will also make a guest appearance.

- The Pavilion Shopping Centre will host a Christmas night market on its rooftop on December 21 from 3pm to 10pm. There will be live music, food and crafts.

- The Botanic Gardens Trail of Lights will run until January 3. The trail of lights is a wonderland filled with decorations, lights, entertainment and food.

- The Litchi Harvest 2024 will open from December 20 to 30 from 8am to 3pm daily.
