Mchunu and his crew were on a Cape Town bound flight, and they started chanting Zulu traditional slogans, and that led to other passengers to complain. @ScrollaAfrica pic.twitter.com/5BbpMO70V6
According to reports, Mchunu and a group he was travelling with started chanting isiZulu traditional slogans leading to complaints from other passengers.
The incident has left X users divided on whether Mchunu’s behaviour is proper flight etiquette with some citing that the media personality should be added to a no fly list for his antics.
This is inconsiderate to other passengers. They should have thrown them out and banned them from flying. There's a time and a place for everything.

Is there a process where people can be put on a ‘No Fly List’ - because why should other passengers be put through that?

I was once on a plane where this lady sang a hymn and almost every black person joined in. Thereafter, there was a prayer session. No one complained.

People in comments are reactionaries. Ngizwe is correct here, that Airport is King Shaka and they are paying homage to a King, there’s nothing wrong to sing 1 song and give thanks.

Commenting on the incident, Kirby Gordon, the CMO at FlySafair, said their cabin crew on flight FA196 encountered a group of passengers whose behaviour was disruptive and in violation of standard aviation safety protocols, including adherence to safety belt signs.
“Our Safety and Security Team is currently finalising its review of the incident. Appropriate actions will be taken in accordance with our procedures, which may include barring the individuals involved from future FlySafair flights,” said Gordon.
