DURBAN – The PSL (Premier Soccer League) on Tuesday announced that three people have been arrested in Durban for the illegal sale of Telkom Knockout tickets for the semi-final fixture between Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates at Moses Mabhida Stadium on Saturday.
In a statement, the PSL said: “Tickets for this fixture were sold out last week. Therefore, anyone selling tickets for this game is doing so illegally.
“In the days leading up to Saturday and also on match-day, police will be monitoring various places in and around KwaZulu-Natal to curb the illegal sale of tickets.
“In the Telkom Knockout quarter-finals, six people were arrested. Four remain in custody.”
Saturday’s match will kick off at 3pm.
