The Jozi Stars will face the Cape Town Blitz in the final of the inaugural Mzansi Super League at Newlands after their play-off match against the Paarl Rocks was rained out at Wanderers on Friday.
Sadly, it looks like the Paarl Rocks flew all the way from Cape Town just to do warm-ups. Game has been called off. The Jozi Stars will face the CT Blitz in the @MSL_T20 final at Newlands on Sunday.

The Stars qualified for the final on account of finishing higher on the log than the Rocks.
Congratulations to @StarsJozi. The final against @CT_Blitz will be a cracker.
Thank you to our amazing @Paarl_Rocks fans for your support. You were the best!

Shortly after the toss, which Rocks captain Faf du Plessis won, choosing to bowl first, a massive thunderstorm broke over Johannesburg. The rain continued to pour well after the scheduled 7pm start.
The final will be played on Sunday, and starts at 3.30pm.
