Renault sent us this picture with nothing more than a New Year's wish and an invitation to visit their website this coming Friday, 11 January, to take a look at the latest addition to the Renault family.
We stand to be corrected, but word on the street is that this is a new compact crossover that will likely take the 'Captur' name from Renault's similarly-themed concept vehicle from 2011.
It's basically Renault's version of the Nissan Juke and it will compete with the latter, as well as with the Ford EcoSport , Kia Soul , Chevrolet Trax and the new Peugeot 2008 that was announced on Monday.
Using Clio underpinnings, you can expect the small French crossover to offer a version of Renault's new 66kW 900cc three-cylinder turbopetrol along with the more conventional 85kW 1.2-litre four-pot turbopetrol.
Watch this space as all is set to be revealed on Friday.
