World-famous South African fashion designer Gert-Johan Coetzee has launched a new collection inspired by the magical world of Disney.
This limited-edition collection to be launched this December offers unique ranges inspired by and celebrating beloved Disney characters, including Donald Duck, The Lion King, Disney Princess, Mickey Mouse, Mufasa: The Lion King, and a Pride collection.
Consisting of chic designs, the Donald Duck collection honours 90 years of the iconic character known for their spirited personality.
The Lion King range is a tribute to the timeless tale of courage and resilience inspired by the savannah's vibrant hues and its majestic characters. This line blends elegance with a touch of the wild, empowering wearers to channel their inner lioness.
For the showstopper, the Disney Princess collection reimagines classic princess attire with a contemporary twist. From Cinderella’s timeless elegance to Ariel’s adventurous spirit, each piece is crafted to make every woman feel empowered and confident, embodying the spirit of a true Disney Princess.
To celebrate diversity and inclusion, the Pride range will reflect the joy and vibrancy of the LGBTQ+ community. Bold, colourful, and fashion-forward, this collection honours love and individuality, echoing Disney's message that everyone deserves their own fairy tale.
Mickey Mouse, together with his Friends, one of Coeztee’s all-time favourites, will be designed with humour symbolising this iconic character and starting the new year with grandeur in February 2025.
The Mufasa: The Lion King collection – inspired by the upcoming, highly anticipated December 20 cinema release - pays homage to one of Disney's most revered characters. This line will feature powerful and sophisticated designs, drawing inspiration from Mufasa’s strength and wisdom, perfect for those who lead with heart and courage.
