Thirty years ago I met my forever, in a night club of all places. We both experienced that immediate love at first sight feeling and ended up chatting till dawn.
Through the years we have faced every possible trial and tribulation and through it all our love blossomed. Today we are happier than ever, still madly in love and the secret to our success is that we have always made sure we have the utmost respect for each other and to never go to bed angry.
During the 80s we faced the wrath of our parents and community alike as two women in love was brutally frowned upon and shunned. Today so many years later we are the ones those same people come to for advice. We have proven that true love can endure any hardship and that mutual respect is one of the most important ingredients to happiness.
We look forward to our next thirty years as we enter the golden era of our lives.
