Bruno Mars has been on a hot streak and his latest collaboration is no exception, teaming up with rapper Sexyy Red for his latest single, “Fat Juicy & Wet”.

Released on Friday, January 24, the song follows a string of successful projects, including “Die With a Smile” with Lady Gaga and “APT.” with Blackpink’s Rosé.

While the bold title has sparked mixed reactions, fans are already showing their support for this unexpected hit.

"Fat Juicy & Wet" follows the success of "Die With a Smile“,which topped the Billboard Global 200 for eight weeks, and "APT.", which led the same chart for 11 weeks. These tracks, which together have occupied the top spot for 19 weeks, solidify Mars' position as one of the industry's most reliable hitmakers.

Beyond chart success, “Die With a Smile” earned two Grammy nominations this year for Song of the Year and Best Pop Duo/Group Performance.

Meanwhile, Mars made history by becoming the first artist to surpass 140 million monthly listeners on Spotify, making him the platform’s most-streamed artist.

Mars has built a reputation for working with a wide range of artists, particularly women, which has contributed to his success. From Cardi B on the “Finesse” remix to Adele’s “All I Ask”, he has a niche for making hits with some of the best artists.

Adding Sexyy Red to his list of collaborators shows his continued interest in blending styles and sounds and that he’s not afraid to dabble in different genres.

Sexyy Red is currently one of the hottest names in hip hop.

In 2024, she tied with Drake as the only artist with four number-one songs on Apple Music, surpassed 2 billion on-demand global streams, and won Best Breakthrough Hip Hop Artist at the BET Hip Hop Awards.

With accolades like these, it’s clear why she’s become a sought-after collaborator.

The “Fat Juicy and Wet” music video also stars Lady Gaga and Rosé. Against a dark red backdrop, the four hitmakers sport matching pant suits and pop champagne bottles while dancing to a hip-hop beat and lip-syncing the explicit chorus: “I don’t even gang bang, p**** so good / Made me throw up a set (Throw up, throw up) / That good kitty-kitty, good kitty-kitty, make it my pet.”

Yes, parental guidance is advised. But love it or not, “Fat Juicy & Wet” has entered the chat.

@dr_tj. took their comment to YouTube: “Only Bruno Mars can manage to bring Sexyy Red, Lady Gaga and Rosé in one video. Iconic.”

@wandeeunscripted commented: “Bruno’s ability to adapt to any genre is impressive.”

While @molly8726 wrote: “Bruno really just does WHATEVER he wants in this industry and he’s so real for that.”
